System Analyst - Top Pay

Regina, SK

We are currently seeking for our client, one of Canada’s largest companies in the heavy equipment Industry a System Analyst for our Regina, SK location. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and monitoring existing enterprise infrastructure and applications. The incumbent will stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies and apply their knowledge to current and new Data Center initiatives.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain, support, and extend existing core Microsoft platforms
  • Maintain and support Microsoft Hyper-V Clustered environment
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization
  • Provide design proposals for current and future Data Centre initiatives
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that a consistent and scalable framework is applied across the data centers
  • Work with vendors on evaluating new technology and solutions, and resolving any outstanding incidents and problems with the systems already in use
  • Provide advanced support to the service desk team and direct support to several internal teams for servers, storage, and applications
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Other duties as assigned




  • 8+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure and application support with 3+ years in a role supporting core enterprise applications and infrastructure in a data center environment
  • Relevant post-secondary degree, college diploma, or equivalent certifications and/or experience
  • Capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision
  • Analytical problem solver that adheres to best practice solutions
    • Candidates with the following experience/training will be preferred:
      Advanced experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Advanced Microsoft (MCSE) or similar industry certifications
    • Experience with enterprise storage solutions (preferably IBM Storwize)
    • Experiences Experience with end to end management of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V, and other enterprise offerings from Microsoft
